Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana is actively campaigning to improve safety in buildings and to protect people’s lives.
In January 2019, we launched a new family of Low Fire Hazard cables produced in Ghana that are halogen free and flame retardant.
Old and sub-standard electrical cables are the common cause of commercial and residential fires. 70% of life’s lost are caused by inhaling dangerous gas emitted during fires.
To reduce the exposure time to these gases, Nexans Kabelmetal’s Low Fire-Hazard cables reduce smoke opacity and gas emission while preventing flames from spreading.
Located in Tema Industrial Area, Nexans Kabelmetal Ghana has the capacity to produce Low Fire-Hazard building wires (1.5mm to 16mm) and industrial armored multicores cables.
